Neurodivergent Affirming Course: How to Handle Burnout

Welcome

A neuroaffirming course for energy, pacing, and sustainable rhythms Burnout is not a sign that you have failed. For many autistic, ADHD and AuDHD people, burnout can emerge after years of pushing through sensory overwhelm, executive function demands, social expectations, masking, poor sleep, and environments that quietly drain more than they give back. This course uses Spoon Theory as a gentle map for understanding your energy, noticing your limits, and exploring what support might look like in daily life. What’s Inside Social, physical, sensory, and executive function spoons Autistic and ADHD burnout The boom-or-bust cycle Spoon Stealers and energy drains Interoception, sleep, stress, and burnout Pacing, accommodations, boundaries, and self-care Mindfulness and no-cost or low-cost spoon-supporting activities Spoon diary and spoon cheat sheet This course may resonate with neurodivergent adults, late-diagnosed autistic people, ADHDers, AuDHDers and anyone seeking neuroaffirming burnout support, pacing tools, emotional regulation resources, and sustainable self-understanding. It is not here to make you more productive. It is here to help you listen to your body, notice your capacity, protect your energy, and create rhythms that honour your nervous system. Move through the course slowly, return when you need to, and let your spoons be information — not a measure of your worth.
