Cathartic Collaborations group programs run for 6 weeks, with each group session lasting 1 hour. Sessions are held online via Zoom Australia wide and include a combination of learning and interactive activities. Our group programs are suitable for those aged 16+.
Facilitator-Led Presentations: Group facilitators will deliver content through engaging presentations.
Interactive Breakout Room Groups: Group members will collaborate and engage in discussion in breakout rooms to complete various activities and worksheets, supported by group facilitators. We respect how each group participant would like to engage and communicate, with options for verbal communication, communicating via a chat box, or opting to listen in only, depending on how they feel on the day. Each group program will have two facilitators and two breakout room groups where participants will be grouped together based on age.
Digital Workbook: Each group member will receive a digital workbook containing session content and exercises to work through during each session.
This engaging 6-week group program is designed to help Autistic folks understand themselves better and build authentic connections with others. Each week, we will explore topics such as building a strong sense of identity, finding common interests, understanding sexuality and gender, and identifying strengths. Participants will engage in activities focused on setting boundaries, communicating needs, navigating the double empathy problem, managing rejection sensitivity dysphoria (RSD), and exploring different communication styles. We'll also cover essential aspects like masking & unmasking, people pleasing, sensory sensitivities & intimacy issues, relationship red flags & green flags, and discovering Neurodivergent love languages. Join us on this journey of self-discovery and learn to navigate relationships with confidence and authenticity.
Cost: $300 for 6 x 1 hour online group sessions.

This comprehensive course delves into various types of spoons—social, physical, sensory, and executive function—and explores their impact on your daily experiences. Learn effective strategies to overcome obstacles, navigate Autistic &/or ADHD burnout, and break free from the boom or bust cycle. Throughout the program, you’ll uncover how to protect your valuable spoons from Spoon Stealers and understand the effects of interoception and sleep on burnout. Dive into the science of allostasis and polyvagal theory to grasp how stress influences your spoon reserves. With practical accommodations, self-care techniques, and boundary-setting tools, you'll be empowered to embrace mindfulness and engage in no/low-cost spoon activities. Track your progress with a spoon diary and use the spoon cheat sheet for quick reference. Enhance your interoception skills and master the art of pacing for a more fulfilling and balanced life. Join us in this journey of personal growth and resilience, and get ready to reclaim your spoons!
